Our Sto. Nino Chapel
Today,
11 November 2012, we share the joy on the completion of altar
renovation of our Sto. Nino Chapel in our community. This was funded
through donations from our community as well as friends from abroad.
We started the fund raising this March 2012 for the altar renovation and needed repair works of our chapel. As the servant-leader in charge of our chapel, I sent letters to families within our community and friends from abroad who could help us. I also pray nightly for the Lord to help us, through the intercession of St. Paul the Apostle, who is the helper in financial difficulties and to San Lorenzo Ruiz and recently to San Pedro Calungsod.
Because we believe that our chapel is the visible sign of God's presence in our community. It is the window of a united People of God in this part of creation, together in journey to the Father's house as a pilgrim Church.
Thank You, Lord, for answered prayers. Thank you, St. Paul, San Lorenzo Ruiz and San Pedro Calungsod for your intercession. Thank you, our dear friends, for sharing in this work of love from the generosity of your heart.
Again, with deep trust in God's providence, we move on to the next phase of our project, which is the repair of the ceiling of the left and right wings of our chapel, which is starting to fall off.
So we continue to appeal for donations for this next project, as we pray that God will always be generous through man's generosity. Lord, we do our part for this project. Please help us again with the rest. But in all things, Your will be done always. Amen.
