 Woman full of God's grace!

In the Annunciation of the Joyful Mystery, the angel Gabriel greeted the young Mary: "Hail, full of grace. The Lord is with you!"

For indeed, Mary is full of God's grace from the very beginning, since she is the only human without the stain of original sin we inherited from our first parents. By God's grace from the very beginning of creation Mary was chosen to be the Mother of His only begotten Son. So that from her human womb God the Son became one like us in all things but sin.

SEPTEMBER 8 is traditionally celebrated as the Birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Catholics are encouraged to offer Mass, virtual for now, to greet Mary, the Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ and our Mother too, a Very Happy Birthday! For Heaven rejoices at her birth! (Although it is no longer a day of obligation.)

     Happy Birthday, Mama Mary!

"The Church celebrates the dawning of the day of Redemption -- the moment when she who was to be the Mother of our Savior was born. The Blessed Virgin occupies a unique place in the history of salvation. Heaven rejoices at her birth. The Lord reserves for her the highest mission ever entrusted to any creature. We rejoice in the certainty that the Mother of God is our Mother, too."
(Ordo 2021)

On your birthday, our Dear Mama Mary, we greet you with the prayer of Hail Holy Queen, in Latin version:

Salve Regina,
Mater  misericordiae,

Vita, dulcedo,
et spes nostra, salve

Ad te clamamus,
exsules filii Evae,

Ad te suspiramus,
gementes et flentes

in hac lacrimarum valle.

Eia, ergo, advocata nostra,
illos tuos
 misericordes oculos
ad nos converte;
 et lesum,
benedictum fructum ventris tui,

nobis post hoc exsilium ostende.

O Clemens; O Pia,
O Dulcis Virgo Maria!

Mama Mary, please pray for us,
our country, and the whole Church!

Ad Jesum per Mariam!
